Love Montessori is more than a playgroup. I offer small, nurturing Montessori parent and child programmes at my beautiful St Albans venue 'The Nest'. Every session is designed to support both your child's development and your confidence as a parent. You'll experience authentic Montessori practices in action, gain expert guidance from an AMI-trained Montessori educator, and learn practical ideas you can use at home.
I also offer online parenting workshops and courses, available on demand so you can learn whenever it suits you. Whether you join me in person or online, you'll receive the same practical, expert Montessori guidance to help you raise a curious, capable child while feeling calmer and more confident as a parent

What is Montessori?
Montessori is a calm, child-led approach that nurtures confident, capable children through hands-on learning. Carefully prepared activities encourage children to explore at their own pace, developing independence, concentration and a life-long love of learning

0-12 months
A baby group with a difference.
Gentle Montessori play in a small group that nurtures your baby's natural development - all at their pace. While you're supported to feel calmer and more connected through expert guidance and a welcoming parent community
Montessori Movers
10-20 months
The perfect bridge between baby and toddler group.
A calm, nurturing space where little ones are free to move & explore. Supporting growing confidence in movement, language and independence through purposeful Montessori play, while you'll feel calmer and more confident as a parent though expert guidance and connection with parents at the same stage
Toddler & Preschool Class 20 months-4 years
A unique group that supports both your child's growing independence and you as a parent.
Through over 50 carefully prepared Montessori activities, including weekly food preparation and baking, children develop confidence, concentration, language and social skills, while you gain expert guidance & practical strategies to use at home

About us
Meet Your Montessori Educator
Hi, I'm Alisa Khakhar, an AMI trained Montessori Educator and mum of two based in St Albans.
I first discovered Montessori when my eldest was two and we were choosing a nursery whilst living in Sydney, Australia. We quickly realised this was so much more than a nursery option. As we embraced Montessori at home, it totally transformed the way we parent - helping us raise curious, capable children while bringing more calm and confidence to family life.
Today, I'm passionate about sharing that knowledge with other families. Through my classes, workshops and courses, I help parents understand child development, put Montessori into practice at home, and feel calmer and more confident in their parenting.
My aim is simple: to create a warm, welcoming community where both children and parents feel calm, supported and empowered.
