"Montessori education has a beautiful understanding of how children learn. It gives the child the respect and nurturing environment they need to reach their full potential. I was drawn to training as a professional Montessori teacher after graduating in Psychology. For over 10 years now I've been putting all the theories and knowledge I've gained into practice, working in special educational schools, youth projects and Montessori nursery schools. I'm especially passionate about early years education and have built up a wealth of experience working with and observing young children. And now this includes my own. Since my daughter was born in July 2013 I have been applying the Montessori methods at home. She is developing at a pace that suits her with a noticeable air of calm and confidence. The Montessori environment I’ve set up gives her a real sense of belonging and security. No matter how big or small your home or what your income, the Montessori approach can give your child the freedom to learn and develop at their own pace. It creates a haven for movement, language and independence, so vital during a child’s early years, laying good foundations for life. My experience, belief in and love of Montessori also extends from children to parents. It's incredibly rewarding to help parents apply the methods at home and see the whole family flourish as a result. I can offer you high quality advice and education to enhance your parenting skills and support your child's natural development using the Montessori philosophy in your home". |
